We aspire to create authentic South Indian cultural and social experiences that connect people, celebrate community, and inspire giving back to society.
As a Social Enterprise, we are dedicated to using our platform to make a tangible difference — supporting local causes, empowering individuals, and inspiring collective action. Through the warmth of hospitality and the joy of giving, we aim to build a community rooted in tradition, kindness, and compassion.
We believe that when culture, cuisine, and care come together, we can nourish not just people, but possibilities.
Our ongoing initiatives, such as Anbu Meal — which provides nutritious meals to migrant workers — and collaborations with non-profits like Daughters of Tomorrow, Project Smiles, and HealthServe, allow us to raise awareness, support fundraising, and contribute to meaningful change in our community. We also collaborate with local home-based entrepreneurs, featuring their products and supporting their growth as part of our commitment to a thriving, compassionate community.
“Anbu” means love — and that’s what we serve.
The Anbu Meal initiative is our way of sharing care through nourishment. Rooted in compassion and community, we prepare and distribute wholesome South Indian meals to migrant workers and those in need. What began as a response during the COVID-19 pandemic has grown into an ongoing effort, with nutritious meals sent each week.
Every Anbu Meal reflects our belief that food made with love has the power to bring dignity, warmth, and hope — one plate at a time.
Special Pass Holders (SPHs) are some of the most vulnerable migrant workers in Singapore. Many are men injured at work or stuck in long legal disputes, leaving them without income, limited healthcare, and no safety net for months — sometimes years. Separated from family, facing stigma and isolation, and often invisible in public discussions, they endure immense financial, emotional, and social strain while waiting for their cases to be resolved.
This year we are happy to collaborate with HealthServe - a registered charity that has walked alongside hundreds of vulnerable migrant workers, offering not just casework and counselling, but also food, transport, and emergency aid.
Beyond meeting urgent needs, HealthServe help create moments of belonging — from shared meals to wellness walks — to ease loneliness and restore dignity. Through advocacy and culturally sensitive mental health support, they are a steady voice for those too often unheard. Every contribution helps continue this lifeline of care, hope, and community.
As part of our commitment, for every Banana Leaf Meal sold, we will donate $5 to HealthServe to support their vital work.
Every contribution helps continue this lifeline of care, hope, and community. HealthServe is looking for volunteers (Counsellors, Translators, Medical Professionals) who can speak in Tamil, Hindi, Bengali or Burmese to support across their programmes.
